They seem to work out the same way, but as AT says above, use them sparingly (I admit to using them twice but dont want to overuse them :rotfl:)See the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -

Personally I'm getting tougher as time goes on and in this instance would email politely and say you don't offer refunds but you are quite happy if they wish to sell the book back on Amazon.
You are not a lending library

I'm not quite familiar with Amazon yet, but I don't think they do have any comeback, I would keep your special delivery postal receipt though just in case!
Wait for AT to log in, she'll know better than me though.

If you've listed it in exactly the right place ie correct version etc and the fault is entirely with them, then I'd stand my ground. Even if they give you bad feedback you can probably get Amazon to remove it on the basis that you haven't done anything wrong and the fault was theirs. I think if the thing you sold included software then it is extremely dodgy to expect you to accept it back as it is quite feasible that it could be copied. Was it sealed? Could you tell if it had been copied? If not, I'd politely reply as per Soo's suggestion. I don't think there is anything else they could do to retaliate other than feedback.0 -
Just spotted this book with two buyers waiting. By the looks of it, one buyer is willing to pay up to £8 for the book in acceptable condition.

Trouble is, I was looking for it myself after seeing it recommended on Old Style. :rolleyes:0 -
