I'm sure that the answer is "yes" but can someone confirm that my 5.2% A&L cash ISA rate is applicable if I add further funds (or transfer from another cash ISA). Thanks!0

If you had already opened the A&L cash ISA when the rate was 5.2%, then funds transferred into the ISA will also get 5.2%.
The 4.5% rate only applies to new customers who applied for the account after the 0.7% bonus was withdrawn. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

Sent the form in 2 weeks ago.
Halifax have no record of it so took a second one into the branch.
A rough idea would be useful so I know when to chase it up.
I transferred one from the Abbey to the A&L late last month. I sent the transfer form to the Abbey, and they responded fairly quickly to acknowledge it. The transfer went into my A&L ISA yesterday, although it is backdated to the 7th April.
The A&L seem to be taking two to three weeks to process the incoming cheques0 -

Went into A&L branch to transfer 4 old ISAs from Halifax to A&L on Saturday April 1st (maybe that was why!). Left paperwork and filled out Cash ISA transfer form with them which they were to send on once they had allocated me an account number. Waited, waited. Meantime had money lying in wait in A&L Premier Direct on April 5th to put into newly opened 5.2% ISA on April 6th for new tax year. Transferred immediately. Still waited and waited for the 4 old ISAs. 22nd April now, still sitting there with Halifax.
Contacted the branch. They do not keep copies of Requests to other ISA providers for transfer of ISAs to them, simply post them off. Rang Halifax, no trace of any request on their system for mne to be moved. One guy at the Halifax offered to do it for me over the phone, and said any A&L account would do - to which I said, oh no it won't. It has to be to another ISA account The long and the short of it, A&L have sent me another form, which I have filled out and posted to Halifax to set up the transfer once again. Hopefully by next week, something will happen, but I have been assured that it will get the 5.2% rate, because the account was opened on 5th/6th April.0
