Same here with the allocation thing, i got a feeling the 21 days may be up before the first dvds arrive :rotfl:Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.0

Well, I got my first DVD in the post today, will probably wait for 2 more before I cancel - so fingers crossed in 21 days my £20 will arrive.
I must admit, the packet it came in - I'm glad I looked to see what it was, as it actually looked like junk mail that I was about to throw in the bin. Glad I didn't.

Try to rip it up then lol0 -
A lot of people seem to be confused as to how many dvds they can receive before having to cancel, in case they get charged on the sixth disc.
If you have subscribed to 2 dvds at a time, what this means is that you may have 2 dvds allocated to you/in your possession at any one time.
You do not have to post both of those dvds back at the same time.
E.g. You receive dvds 1 & 2, watch 1 and post it back. You will then be sent dvd 3. they will not send you two dvds as you still have dvd 2 in your possession.
Following this method, as long as you send one dvd back at a time, you can safely receive 5 free dvds, and be sure to cancel on receipt of the fifth.
Hope this helps someone xsome people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Ive just had my first two DVDs (Saw 2 and The Cave), both were the two I put as priority and the discs are in good condition.
Still not had my voucher or anything from DVD.co.uk yet though.
If I was to stay with Screenselect, do you pay £9.99 per month and can have as many DVDs as you want in that month, as long as you keep sending the ones you have watched back?

I also received my first choices, and have had no problem with dvds I've had on earlier sbscription to Screenselect.Still not had my voucher or anything from DVD.co.uk yet though.
I've also not had my DVD.co.uk voucher yet, but my account was only validated on Thursday - received my dvds on Saturday. If I was to stay with Screenselect, do you pay £9.99 per month and can have as many DVDs as you want in that month, as long as you keep sending the ones you have watched back?

As I understand it, yes, you can have an unlimited number of dvds in any 1 month - but only the specified number of dvds at any one time (depending on whether you choose to have the 1, 2 or 3 option. I think the £9.99 option is 2 dvds?).some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

I'm sure it said that you get the DVD.co.uk voucher after the 21 days initial trial period was up- even if you cancelled before then.

Yep, you're right, DVDAPRIL is the promo code to enter on the screenselect site when signing up (actually it should be pre-entered when you click the link from dvd.co.uk).
Dvd.co.uk will send you a voucher code for your £20, a code personal to you to receive your £20 off.
Hope that makes sense!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way
