Helen_from_yorkshire wrote:I'm sorry if this was mentioned on the thread earlier but I've just checked the T&C and it states that, to qualify for the £20 voucher, you have to make up to 10 DVD selections. With this in mind, if you do intend cancelling after only a couple of DVDs and want to make up the numbers, add "24 - Season 1" to your selection and this adds six DVDs at once.
Hi! Unfortunately I tried this but it stated "please add 10 unique titles", so 6 dvds of a box set count as one!! They've thought of everything by the look of it! Doesn't take much effort to add 10 titles though, just put any you don't really want at lowest priority and hopefully you won't get them!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Oh well, I fell at the last jump ! had an email to say that our house had used them before so therefore do not qualify for this promotion, but I could pay up front if I wanted. I haven't used screenselect b4 but an associated company of theirs. I had my card verified, then my DVDs were awaiting allocation, then today the email.
Oh well, hope you get your vouchersI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Oh well, worth a try ... though the six different DVDs in the 24 series are all sent separately and not as a six DVD box set. Best get on the site and add some moreThere's no woman sicker than the woman who is sick on her day off !0 -
It's been a week and I still haven't had my DVD voucher, although I've received two DVDs for rental...should I be getting worried?0

I got that as well... then the next day an email saying my account was now open and first disc was sent today.... no idea what they are doing0 -
Signed up for this trial on Thursday 13/04 using DDs name and email. We have used this address with my name for free trial with Screenselect before.
All over the weekend, it let me add enough titles to ensure I had the 10 needed to claim dvd.co.uk voucher, but was telling me that I could not access certain account details until my account was activated.
However, I did receive my first 3 dvd rentals on Saturday 15/04 (NOTE, my account is showing that I have no dvds at home).
Now I've just logged in to screenselect to find the following message:
"You appear to be ineligible for a free trial.
This is usually because somebody from your household has already had a trial from a service powered by Video Island.
You will shortly receive an email with instructions about what your options are. If you do not, please contact Customer Services for help in activating your subscription."
No email received as yet, but if they try to charge me for the rentals I've received, I'll be very p***ed off!!some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

Same here. I sent them an email asking when I can expect my voucher.this is their reply;
"Thank you for contacting us.
I can confirm that you will receive your voucher within 28 days of the date you registered with us.
Kind regards,
Tamika

So I guess we just have to wait and see.....0 -
But will we be able to safely cancel our subscriptions before that time, since the free trial is only for 21 days?0
