He's fantastic, haddock is now steaming away, I have it with scrambled eggs (and 2 cats watching intently!)

Flippin cat, she's just been trying to shake some of her cat hairs into my eggs :mad
She knows I won't want them if they're full of tabby hairs

Morning all
Maz - fingers crossed for news on the house today.
Sammy and Bookie - have a lovely day - but sort out your travel insurance!!!!!
Luc - Rum soaked strawberries are lush....and it just so happens I've got a small tot of rum left and the last 10 strawberries from the garden to use up...guess what we'll be having for pud tonight!
IA - Sorry to hear it's been hellish of late, glad the girls are better now tho, does Ash start school in September?
There's a fish market 5 mins walk from here, I watched them bringing the catch in the other morning, amazing how many different fish they catch from our bit of the sea....sadly though, as DH is mega allergic to fish and seafood we can't have any in the house.
Need to rejig the budgets today, somethings gone wrong somewhere and I'm overdrawn...."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Hope the girls are feeling better IA.
I have a tent Linda - but it might be chily even for me.
Every time that haddock gets mentioned I intend to buy some and then promptly forget!0 -
Morning all!
Still no internet so this'll be my only post of the day.
@ Z - Thanks for your reply yesterday, even if it was a bit blunt. I know she's addicted but is it really wrong of me to think she's being selfish? Plenty of people give up smoking, it's not impossible. So why aren't I important enough to her for her to do it? Sorry, I'm in "moody teen" mode at the mo.
@ sammy - Hope you have a good time at bookie's.
I've had to reschedule the mystery shop since it turned out to have been on Mon. I'm now doing it today and I'm still not keen. Oh well, it's all extra cash, which I'll probably need soon after my huge shopping spree last weekend. I bought some new trainers, jeans and bras and some salt (which I needed) and some flip-flops, a pink fluffy rug, nail varnish, crisps, a CD and a t-shirt (which I didn't need). All in all, I think I spent about £80! When will I learn?
I'm getting hungry now so I'd better go home before I head for the vending machine. Talk soon.
