The driver must stop if a horse, cattle, !!!, mule, pig, sheep, goat or dog is injured (Road traffic act)
    Poor thing though :(

No deer...... is that cause the above all belong to someone? whereas a deer is a free spirit?

!!!!!!, you'd need to stop if you hit a cow! or a horse! or a donkey!!

who are you supposed to tell though?

When there was a fox in the road in the way of traffic (could have caused an accident, luckily I was going slowly as was behind a tractor), I phoned the local police - they deal with it then.

Just found out a guy my age was killed last night, swept out to sea, what a waste :(

Basically yes although it's only certain animals you have to report. Wild animals are covered by the wild animals (protection) act 1996 which just basically says you can't intentionally harm a wild animal.

Essentially you have to report an animal that might be an asset of someone else and therefore of value to them. Presumably you'd be expected to provide compensation if you are at fault? Note a domestic cat is not listed but a dog is...

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

True - but they aren't 'working' animals so aren't covered

I would put my cat above many individuals too;)

I think with cats it's something about ownership/responsibility - AFAIK you can't be held responsible if your cat causes damage because you can't 'own' a cat - well I'm sure you know that, they own you :rotfl:

Yep, dogs have owners, cats have staff.
