It is lovely here-and very tempting to tell DH that we HAVE to move back-we could buy land and build a house for dead cheap here...but there is just so much to consider!!!
I will be landing in Manchester at around half 12 on sat Spud, come see me
(although, tbh, I shall probably be a very tired and grumpy bear)
Sal, my friend who is a paramedic says to do the 2 hour thing with paracetemol/ibprofen with high temps. 1 each overy 2 hours (if that makes sense?) She may just sleep like a log tonight, you never know, but you are like me, I'd have her in bed with me. (or sleep on the floor beside them like I have done before)
I have a massive confession...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Bun, my first thought was....I'll go and see her off the plane, have coffeee and a cake. My second thought was.....She'll have been travelling for a LONG time, and will just want home and bed :rotfl:
What do you have to confessIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I'm so glad the running is going well, I can't tell you how much I cannot WAIT to get back home and get my self back into a running routine...off to Halifax first thing in the morning to get my Great Aunt on the train back to New Brunswick then I am going to see my 'real' Dad's sister and my Grandmother and Grandfather. I don't remember them but I got in touch with my Aunty through FB and we've arranged a surprise for me to see them tomorrow. It shall be quite emotional I imagine...I haven't seen them since I was about 3 I think.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

fess up bunny!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
I have never been away from m children for such a long time. And if I am really honest, I miss them, but I've been ok.
I feel really bad that I've not missed them more.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Is that it?
Sometimes it is good to have a break Bunny. I used to leave mine when I went to see my friend in America. I felt really guilty and loved getting back to them but BOY did I have a good time without them. Plus my hubby used to really appreciate me (for a while) when I got back.0 -
I think thats fine for you not to miss them uncontrolably Bunny...I bet the first few days you missed them like mad and its got easier as the week has gone by. You've been too busy living the high life to miss themI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
