lucielle, I read your diary....sorry to read about your car etc
Ebay has ended - £72, so will get about £60 after fees & paypal costs I guess, so I will be happy with that.....
Still need to get something else listed.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
OK, have got my couch listed.....I never use it, preferring to work on my clients in a chair instead of on a couch, so am happy to let someone else who is just starting out have it at a good price!
I will try and get something else listed during the evening......and a couple of things tomorrow.
I was thinking today about how to save the money up to clear my barclayloan off by the end of the year.....That means £1200 a month on top of my normal monthly repayment.
That is quite a big amount to find each and every month between now and the end of the year, so I have set myself targets such as £1000 from ebay/carboots (that's a lot of stuff I need to get rid of!), £250 from matched betting, £50 a month shaved off the grocery budgets, £250 from dooyoo, etc etc etc.....
They all seem reasonable with a bit of effort, but it is still going to be quite a tough call!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Whilst I accept I have a huge amount of clutter........I don't think I could possibly raise THAT amount every month!!
But £200 a month from ebay/carboots on average could be something approaching do-able
Still needs a fair bit of effort but not as much as £1000 a month would need :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Good luck! I've been making £100 most months on Amazon, but then I have a lot of books. I've never had much success with either ebay or carboots but then I've never really tried with ebay. I've got lots of free stamps at the moment, which makes it more profitable too.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

I tend to shy away from ebay and carboots because of the time issue - I never seem to have enough of it.....
But even if I only achieve half the target, that will still be the loan paid off earlier than it would have been, and at 24.9% that is a reasonable incentive to get listing/car booting!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Tesco shop done - £41.11 so not too bad....we still had a reasonable amount left from last week, so my shopping budget is going fine for the month :T
I forgot to go to the bottle bank on the way though, so that is a job for tomorrow.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
