  • You can get a diabetes test at some pharmacies too - the local Lloyds pharmacy do tests here and it doesn't take long.

I felt just as Taka did once, but that was entirely due to the alcohol intake the night before!! Hope you're feeling better.

Taka, thats horrible - I have low blood pressure, and thats happened to me three times as an adult - only once have I made it to the doctor, the next day - "rest", they say. Tho thats just my knees giving out on me, and me folding gracefully (!) to the floor, I didn't get the sugar thing. You probably do need to describe the whole episode to your doc. Hope you're feeling a bit better, and able to get a good sleep. Lots of hugs.

hi Taka hope it is nothing serious - perhaps your blood pressure needs checking at doctors - or iron levels?

I know you probably don't want to hear this, but it may be as well to go to your docs for a diabetes test.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! I'll be on the phone to my Doc 1st thing Monday I think.

I'm fairly sure its not low blood pressure - I was at the higher end of normal the last time it was checked (January I think?). Diabeties is a possibility I guess... Both my parents are type 2 diabetics and I'm very overweight too, all risk factors. I was fine the last time I was tested but that was ~4 yrs ago! If it was diabeties I would have expected to be Hyperglycemic rather than hypoglycemic though...:confused:

Hopefully it was just a one off...

I'm not sure what the symptoms are of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia .... and hopefully it *is* just a one-off. But I don't like hearing that the risk factors for diabetes are stacking up :( take care.

taka, I hope you are feeling better today. I had an "episode" like that once, but it was completely stress-related. I took a couple of days off work to catch up with myself and it sorted itself out.

The doctor would be a good idea on Monday though, for sure.

I've had the odd attack like that over the years-apparently I turn a beautiful shade of green according to the friend who was with me when one hit.

Definitely get the blood pressure and blood sugar checked out just to be safe.

Morning duchy - no, you're not the only earlybird! Most sensible people are still tucked up under the duvet!

Scratches done - only 10p but double scratch, so double 10p

A dooyoo review done.....will try and get another done later today. I also need need need to get a couple of scripts written ready for recording tomorrow evening

New student arrives at 6pm so still some housework to be done before then......

Yesterday was a bit of a write off really - I was just so so tired, so I have to really make the effort to get things done today, otherwise I will be on the back foot all week.

Hope you all have a good day x
