DT that property is fantabulous......but I will forego it because I know I wouldn't be able to keep it tidy enough.......one odd sock or empty envelope would be disastrous!! Whereas old rambling rectory can cope with wellies being dumped in the back kitchen, and clothes being hung to dry in front of the fire.......

I WILL get where I want to be.....just not this week

No housekeeper I intend to embrace the minimalist life I have always lived in period homes but the last 12 months I have really decided that I want a minimalist house and contemporary too -must be a mid life crisis. I can imagine living there which is quite sad really :o will have to up my mystery shopping a wee bit I think :rotfl::rotfl:

The Old Rectory is lovely but to far from work for me (plus a tad over my budget :rotfl:) My dream home still wasn't in the paper this week and nothing that grabbed me massively.

Ditto. Blackadder would be my specialist subject on Mastermind but I'd be totally rubbish at the general knowledge bit

Could you do some MS for the estate agent and pretend to buy it??

Elantan, the book on how long until Hypno is living in beautiful rambling home sounds like great plan. She's bound to beat our guesstimates :rotfl:
