Today I have deliberately forgotten my packed lunch, so that I can have a sausage and egg bap. :o Sometimes nothing else will do. I'm heartily sick of eating the contents of my freezer. It has been one long slog of reduced price Salmon :o nice at first but..........

I blew 90p on various reduced item rubbish bits of food yesterday, breaking my LL diet (grrr) but I was v. stressed on my way to see my mum in hospital after her heart attack, so I'm blaming old habits dying hard....luckily she's responding very well to treatment and chomping didn't put any weight on (has just made me feel sluggish and fat, hasn't quite put 5 1/2 stone back on, tee hee, think I'd need more than a sarnie and a bar of choc to do that, lol).

So my £20 is now £18.14 - not bad by my standards!

KK, I think any of us would have bought rubbish in that situation! Hope you mum continues to respond well.

Becky, the POA part is scary! If you have to ask, you can't afford! :rotfl:

My £13.85 in tact but...forgotten lunch AGAIN :o

The cat needs eyedrops/cream and it's a trauma trying to get them in so organised thoughts went out of the window!

But it is Friday, and as rightly pointed out it really has been a loooong week. A treat a week keeps you sweet? I will spend the next 2 hours justifying a bought lunch and the 2 hours after kicking myself for it...that counts as exercise to work of the lunch doesn't it? :D

Kitti I hope your mum makes a speedy recovery.

OK, so I have scraped together enough to cover the China trip cheque - it means that there is literally 2p in the account now :rotfl:And it did mean a sneaky amendment of a standing order due out on Monday, which I have changed to come out the following Monday :o I will amend it back after it has been paid so that August's money comes out correctly - it is only to pay for the kids karate, so nothing that will result in snotty letters or threats of charges etc!

We therefore have a storecupboard challenge upon us for the next couple of weeks or so - I wonder if my new student has any idea what she is letting herself in for :rotfl:
