Talking of blazers - we got a letter home from school stating that from September we have to buy specific school clothing with logos etc from just one provider, who of course is not cheap.
Really narked about that because up til now we have been able to buy plain navy sweatshirts etc which we can buy from M&S or Tesco or whatever. The children can look smart enough without needing a logo for an extra £15 an item!!
Also, I wish they had told us earlier in the school year - to leave it til the last week of term is not very helpful really is it!!!
Just one of those weeks

Another soon to be ex 0range customer here too... :hello:  Not impressed with the increase letter I got yesterday- 57% in my case! I've spent the morning trying to decipher the lingo and my head hurts... !!!!!! are LLU's? :wall: Did you find any good cashback anywhere?
Good luck with the China money juggling!
LLU means local loop unbundling.
They should not be using jargon like that with end-users..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Hope the larger cheque arrives tomorrow. Will it be enough to cover the cheque you have to write for the China trip?
Any result from Egg?

The cheque won't arrive today - we have a postal strike  It will cover the balance of China though, so when it arrives, it will be much appreciated. Especially as I have written the cheque for China for DD to take into school today
The children break up today - so two very happy children...if only I could have 7 weeks off....
No result from egg, because I haven't taken it any further - no energy for fighting battles this week, and I will probably do it the week after next when I have some time off work.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Morning all, we had a massive storm last night but still feels muggy
Well done on ebay, i am trying to work out what might sell and not getting on very well - did powerrangers a couple of years ago and they went well but have lots of toys like knex which are heavy so dont sell well due to postage - looks like might have to do a car boot which DH will really love
God forbid if the worst happens with your China cheque will DD lose her place or will they let you send another payment? Really feel for you over the stress of it and the student cheques.
Weather not looking to good but its FRIDAY yippeeee and long weekend as off monday :j

It *has* been a long week, hasn't it ... tho it feels like the time in front of me has suddenly expanded, cos I'm not ill any more! Yesterday was completely taken up with cable guy and assorted terrible call centre workers, so that didn't happen either. I think I have to resign myself to not doing much dfw stuff till I get back from France, which is still before the end of July - have to really go for it during August, I think. I really like the sound of the ebay total, well done so far!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
