People in real life would think we are absolute nuts, getting excited about sitting next to online friends :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

So, so true! I have my duty phone call to my mum this evening, and I *have* to chat about something - she'll think I'm a lunatic!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

what site are you talking about?! I never win on the free bingo when I play, so tend to forget about it, generally get at least 35p on scratchies (usually 10p on littlewoods and 25p on Virgin).
I do morrisons or asda occasionally Hypno as it's cheaper for somethings, like meat, but generally speaking my stress levels can't handle it unless I get there at 9, so generally do Tescos at Blue Boar! But yep, I remember beans being 9p, and haven't seen them at that in years! I'm wondering if these grocery prices are the reason I'm finding it difficult to keep within my usual £80 a month budget?
No plans for weekend here, but planning to get a few amazons listed, plan christmas prezzies (knitting a lot of them, so imperative I start early as I'm not a fast knitter!), and also have an online assessment to do for a grad scheme.0 -
I used to live near Blue Boar so that Tesco was my natural "haunt".....but I hate supermarket shopping......I tried to do online shopping again this summer, but ended up spending more because I couldn't find the real bargainous offers that you can see instore. I really should have been more organised though - Saturday late morning is NOT the time to go shopping!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0
