i think you can safely leave housework off the list for the full year ...say its your 40th b/day present or something...you have much more interesting things to do ...ironing isnt vital for a happy house anyway:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

A lack of ironing may not make a happy home, but it makes for more space to sit in the lounge!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Morning all. I hope the sun is shining for you all!
Scratches done - 10p as usual, and nothing to report in banking today. I need to go and do a shop this morning because we have run right out of basics......so a list and a menu plan are on my "to do" list.
Hope you all have a good weekend xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

If I was closer, lucielle, I would put a load or two in my machine for you. I hope you get it sorted soon.
I've made my shopping list - it won't be the cheapest of shops, but I can get a fair bit of "value" stuff which will keep the cost as low as is reasonably possible.
DS has got 2 friends sleeping over - at some point they are going to come downstairs and find no breakfastAh well, they'll survive

Oopsie. Only just seen this, but I did get some tickets - thanks DT! No £250 win tho. And I'd forgotten who Gerbil was, will remember from now on! I must say I hardly read any of the chat stuff, didn't know one of the CMs was freakingnot a pretty sight, I should imagine

LNow I'm embarrassed ... I am *terrible* for stocking up too much. I've recently overflowed dry goods (tissues, toilet cleaner etc) to the hall cupboard
Can I use the fact that I was born in the year rationing ended as an excuse? Trouble is, I was ten days old when that year finished
:o Okay, I'm just neurotic about having enough in the house.
2023: the year I get to buy a car0
