yeah i get that ...it's like learning a whole new language ...i had to break it down completely bit by bit ...
best way i can describe it ...
it is making money for little effort ..
for eg..you place a bet at one bookies (say coral) for arsnal to win ...
then you place a bet at another bookies (betfair is the best for this) for arsnal not to win ..now you place that bet for arsnal not to win ...not for arsnal to loose so that a draw is covered
then they play and arsnal looses your money is in betfair
but coral give you a free 25 pound bet for your trouble ..
so you do the same again
you bet for arsnal to win in coral
you bet for arsnal not to win in betfair ..
arsnal loose again all your money is in betfair now including the free money ..
thatis a very very basic idea ...other things happen like quidco give you money to sign up for coral and betfair and betfair also gives you a free bet etc and sometimes you have what is known as snr's etc ...but that is a very very basic explanation of mbing...it is a way of extracting free money from a bookie
Ew, just had a nasty flash back to "O" Level Maths....
"If John is 12 and his Dad is 36, how old will the rabbit be when his Dad is 51?" Arghhhh!!!!
Actually, I though that was the general gist. Thanks for the tip about them not winning as opposed to not losing. It seems that those subtleties are the ones which can trip you up.
So it's works when there are 2 teams/opponents (football/tennis) rather than horses or golfers? (not that I'm an expert on either )
Well done on the bingo win Hypno.:T I NEVER win. Have yet to find free bingo (I do Butlins and Virgin), though had a bit of a gamble this morning, seduced by the "xxxx has won £20,000 on this game!" and again - zilch.0 -
macgirl, you can matched bet most things -
eg bet on red rum to win the 3.30
and lay red rum NOT to win the 3.30.

Bet on Tiger Woods to win the golf.....
and lay Tiger Woods (ooh err Missus) NOT to win the golf.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi Everyone
Just catching up with diaries.
Thanks for the simpler explanations of MB. I think I will go and look into it and see if I can make a bob or two!
I won £15 on Blackjack yesterday and have signed up to a Casino site - will make £5 profit on Quidco after wagering £25! Hope I make my £25 back too as it seems so wasteful too wager so much! Will wager tomorrow. Wish me luck.

It is never wasteful if you end up with a fiver profit! It is just *better* if you can make more than that!
Always be aware, though, that quidco may not pay out - it is not 100% guaranteed.
