Morning Hypno,

How are you? I'd imagine with the cold and underlying tiredness from before you became ill are making you feel decidedly unwilling to go to work.

I know this is, for you, a mad suggestion - but would you consider taking the day off work so that you can give body a chance to heal. It need only be the one day in which you do nothing but sleep, eat well and rest... no reviews, no planning, no spreadsheets - it could still be a NSD if you want to keep something MSE about it

I'm feeling decidedly ropey myself yet off to work in 5 minutes so I'm the last one to talk really, but do as I say not as I do (sound familiar?)

Whatever today is, I hope you have a good day

That's what I'd prescribe.
One day of that recharges your batteries for another year. So go on - get the duvet out and Jeremy Kyle on:rotfl:

I would only stay away from work if I were either very contagious, or at deaths door - we have money deducted from our monthly bonus if we are off sick, and as a day's "bonus" could be £25 or so, it makes a couple of days off work quite noticable in the pay packet at the end of the month!

Scratches done - 10p again, inching ever closer to payout. Halifax banking is not working this morning so I can't check that, but everything else looks to be ticking over ok.

Oh my goodness!! That's a nasty incentive to go to work if ever I read one...gulp. Are you ever able to work from home using a laptop?

Not really, kittikins. I'm ok - it is just a cold, so although my nose hurts and my throat hurts, I don't ache, feel sick of have a fever, so it could be a whole lot worse.

If I ended up with flu, I would stay at home, but this is just a pesky summer cold

working very well on me,1st one ive come across that actually worked, when you have a ,,,,dribble nose
love the property !!!!!!,,,but thought Fridays was !!!!!! day
and !!!!!!!!! 21K ON FOOD!!!!!!i could run two houses on that budget,let alone supply food for one family on it

Not tried sudafed nasal spray - may take a trip down to boots later to have a look.....
