    Random question

What are the point of wasps?

I liked the jam answer :D but I think they do actually pollinate like bees. and apparently there's a world shortage of bees (although not in MY garden) so we're all going to die out so maybe wasps aren't too bad... DS sat on one recently so he would disagree there! luckily it was his hand not his bum that the poor wasp got squished by:D.

yeah Hypno, well done on reaching below £25,000.

I have finally got up to date with your diary, ive read every one of them.

Ive started to do the dooyoo reviews, im not very good at them, and im a bit shy to post reviews incase I make a fool of myself or dont put enough "detail" into it, bit, I will learn, I will read and review what other people are saying and rate them too.

I have to say im really excited for you, and cant wait for you to pay off that egg loan, Hey have you review them? Im sure you have but thought I would ask anyway.

Im going to look at the link you posted the other day with regards to the free bingo and scratch cards too. I havent ventured over to the match betting post, I think that may be a bit too complicated for me, and im not the brightest of persons :embarasse when it comes to figures, but I will wait and see.

Can I ask you for your recipe for corn beef hash please? My husband said he liked it, and his mum used to make if for him all the time, but, ive never made it for him (only been married for nearly 20 years mind you, so, its still early days to find out what he likes and doesnt like:p), saying that I hate corn beef, so, thats why ive never made it.

Anyway, keep up the brilliant work, and the motivation.

Well here's my recipe I loathe peeling potatoes so this recipe is for people like me :)

    1 tin of corned beef
    an onion chopped
    half an apple chopped
    4 baking potatoes
    Worcester sauce
    salt & pepper
    grated cheese

Bake the pototes-nuking doesn't work for this

Whilst they bake fry the onion, throw in all the other ingredients and fry til corned beef is just crispy at the edges

Scoop out the potatoes-throw them in with the hash mix and combine.

Stuff the shells (ooops if you threw them in too you have a problem) with the mixture and then sprinkle grated cheese on top and shove under the grill until cheese bubbles- serve with crusty bread.

As you can see I'm hardly Nigella but the plates are always cleared but I'm sure Hypno's will be better !!

Morning all - Sea78, lovely to see you posting!

I went to bed at 9.30 last night - couldn't stay awake any longer. My throat feels really "thick" this morning - bah!

My recipe for corned beef hash is the same as duchy's more or less - I don't bake potatoes, but often just use leftovers from the previous day. Or new potatoes that don't need peeling - just cube them, microwave them, and throw them in the pan.

also, I throw in anything left in the fridge sometimes, so I often add a handful of mushrooms, or half a pepper, chopped up.

Instead of putting cheese on, which sounds yum, I add a fried egg on top of each portion - sometimes I fry the egg separately and add it when serving, sometimes I crack the eggs over the hash and let it all cook together!

    Deeeeelish!

jackie - congratulations on surviving all my chapters!! And yes, I have reviewed egg loans already. If you want me to look at any of your reviews and tell you what i think, I will be happy to do so if you pm me on dooyoo.

    Long time lurker here,

I've been busy while lurking, am now on Bport, Pback and Dooyoo :j. Have rated smear test review and need to look for more of you to be in my group of friends so i can review. I am just trying to be brave enough to start reviewing things myself - have already made of list of items!

Sub £25k is good, and £30k in a year is amazing. Well done!

    Hi pippajo!

I think one of the key things for anyone starting out on dooyoo is to rate lots of other people's stuff - spend a few minutes clicking and reading other reviews, and they will soon get to know you and will be more likely to return the favour and click back.

Sadly, dooyoo has seen a large influx of newbies that have posted lots of reviews but not rated anyone. So as a result, a lot of the established members are not automatically reading reviews from anyone with the "new member" banner on their profile.

It does pick up though, and some of my first reviews only got a handful of rates - so stick with it, keep rating, and you will get rated back, whether they are people in your "circle of friends" or not!

    See you over there!
