I'm not a troll (I think by my post count I'd have been found out by now if I was), but you must admit it begs the question as to how depressed one has to be to get sickness benefits.
Glad you're having a good day.

You'll have to take my word for it though.i expect you have never had depression and tryed to kill yourself as well ? life gets like that sometimes. I was on valium in my teens, and ended up once having my stomach pumped (a boyfriend had dumped me, how pathetic was I?). Didn't get any money for it though, just had to get on and deal with it.
I worked full time in a job I didn't particularly enjoy (luckily I got another one for the majority of my working life, that I did enjoy) but it focussed my mind at the time.
Sorry to have caused offence, I'll butt out of this thread now.

I think some of the comments have been in bad taste, and can't be nice to hear. I hope if either of you have loved ones that develop depression, that nobody makes snide or doubting comments to them whilst they're in a vulnerable position. When you're depressed, being positive about certain situation is a very good start to trying to overcome things. Going to tribunal is not easy, especially when depressed, and I think that's great news that you won it.
Take care0 -
I agree that I think some of these comments have been unfair. The OP is bound to be pleased that he/she won their appeal. Suggesting this means they are not depressed is absurd and insulting.
ESA and Bogof Babe might not be trolls but their comments were unkind and not at all helpful. Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies

I thought cozza sounded pleased too. Perhaps it was the way the OP worded it.
