search function continues to be tedious, and has been the case for me since the first upgrade, couple of months back

I get the message:

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

and today, it simply refused to take me to the second or following pages of a search result despite refreshing the page and returning to do it all over again.

try using google - put in your search terms followed by 'moneysavingexpert'

This often throws up better response than the mse search facility
