I wouldnt mind as much if there had been fraudulent activity on my account, but there wasnt.

I got an adjustment on my wages and Id been underpaid by £8.86. So Abbey, for whatever reason, took it upon themselves to shut down my account until I could prove that I knew where that money came from.......

So they froze my account until I went in with my passport, bank card, bank statements and my payslips.

I work 9-5.30 too, so I dont know when they expected me to go in, but I ended up having to take a half day holiday to sort it out. But its done now thankfully.

    Blinking banks!!!!

While I'm going through my list -can anyone tell me the best./cheapest place to get a digital photo frame from ?
Cheaper the better really -its for my son and his girlfriend and they're already having other stuff. Was going to get one last year and got something else instead.

Mary-op - I just bought one from Amazon for my nan! HannsG 7 inch Digital Photo Frame With USB & Card Reader - White. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B001CNOC4E/ref=ox_ya_oh_product But it was only £27.28 when I ordered it a few weeks ago!! YIKES. Was hoping I could help but obvioulsy not now the price has shot up!! Plus I used my dooyoo voucher on it!! So was a bargain for me. Haven't actually tried it yet to make sure it works - need to - I need to upload loads of pics for her too!! lol

    Christmas has officially arrived gals!

Boots are doing their fab "offer of the week" and 342. This means that on the "offer of the week" item, you get it at 341 i.e. pay for one gift get 3.

This weeks is the Sanctuary Beauty Box: Should be £35 each. On 342 they become £70 for the 3 of them (saving £35) but as they are also offer of the week they are 50% of as well (saving £70). Each box therefore costs £11.33 each and looks like a £30 gift.

    LINK HERE

Before you checkout do the following:
    • Topcashback give 3% cashback on boots - no other site does as far as I know ~ £2.10 ish on a £70 spend
    • Put your purchases in, check for a Boots.com extra points code when you spend over £50 - up to date ones usually found on hotukdeals - ~£7.50ish back on a £70 spend
    • checkout using a cashback card if you have one (i earnt an extra 80p on my card on £70 spend).
    So I got approx £10 back on a £70 spend in total = £60 for 6 boxes = £10 per present. Bonza! :T

Oh and free delivery over £45 as well :A:D

"its beginning to look a lot like chrissssssssstmassssss"

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

Wow you all have been busy chatting, 3 pages to catch up on this morning while I had my COFFEE, some great deals there on the Wii well done everyone on getting bargins.

I have got DS2 a DS for his birthday can anyone recomend any games for that for a 6 yo???? Don't want to get ones that he won't be able to play

My son is 5 and loves playing on Mario Kart on the DS (and the Wii for that matter) A DS is the best thing in the world, I had one for my birthday last year and never get a look in - DS likes to take it in the car and it keeps him very quiet!
