Have finished daughters bedroom. Its very pink, white and black. She asked me to help her do a painting of one of the Twilight peeps for her wall and this is the result - she did it all her self really, I was just watching.

S I dont want my little boys christmas to be a disaster cos I had to cook! So I have a bit of a panic on!! :rotfl: Like you Im going to make a list and start getting some stuff in bit by bit and hopefully I wont forget anything that way and be super-uber organised!!

****Breathes deeply and reminds myself I cook every sodding day, so whats the big deal**** Panic attack over.....sorry! :o

As someone once said to me they didn't know what all the fuss was it was just another Sunday dinner and when you think of it like that it does seem silly that so many of us go into a panic over Christmas lunch. I was a panicker. We no longer have the full works on Christmas Day since we lost my Dad in 2008 and it is just hubby and me and my mum who understandably doesn't feel like Christmas anymore so Hubby and I have to go along with it.

Anyway back to my point for replying. i have also made stuff well in advance and frozen it so it became a case of defrosting on Christmas Eve and heating up on Christmas Day.

    The things I froze were
my stuffing (have always cooked it separate - freeze raw/cook Christmas Eve/ microwave to cook on Christmas Day)
Carrots in White wine and honey
    bread sauce
    cranberry sauce

Cook gravy early Christmas Day and put in a flask for serving later

mince pies made and frozen - just microwave when needed

can't think of anything else off the top of my head

    I microwave my Christmas pudding

most things made middle of November
    Kate :hello:

Of course you can join in.

    Plan of action -
    Big reveal 2ngt.
Collect names over the next couple weeks, + add to 1st post + double check everyone ok with it.
Then Oct's santas challenge, (dd going to pick the names for who gets which person), so can release all names etc,
That way were not running run like a headless chick end of Nov.

    (love lists - sorry)

    xx

I just read on the Tesco website that you can only double up vouchers until 39th September 2009! Has anyone else heard that? I'm very tired right now and just want to make sure I've read it correctly before I panic and go doubling up crazy at the weekend!

:rotfl:Just read my own message .....39th September!!!!! Hahahahaha, I must have been tired :rotfl:
