    Morning Everyone

Sorry Choccy didn't get back on PC last night and missed the Challenge, Really like your idea will have a go at sorting that out today, I love being organised for the holidays and keeping the kids busy. Love the scrap book idea for them, I alwasy do them with mine when we go away, never done it for the entire 6 weeks but really like the idea.

I was hoping to get some gifty Xmas pressys made with mine over the holidays as they have so many people to give too so I'm going to incorerate that into the wet days I think, maybe even make it a mini christmas day and let them watch an xmassy film after and listen to xmassy music???

Right I need A Coffee catch you all later

I didnt get back on again last night either but have decided to do the no mum one as although I am a Mum my daughter is nearly 14 and will most probs be out with her firends all through the holidays.

Couldnt start with the bath as due to my disabled arms I cant get out of it once I get in but will put my feet up tonight after I have had a shower and check my organised Christmas bits.

My daughter made some biscuits last night which seemed really easy and they were lovely, even better this morning once they had hardened up. She just rolled them into balls and pressed them out into rounds but next time I will get some proper cutters and roll it out.

Here's the recipe if you'd like it-

    175g/6oz Plain Flour
    100g/4oz Butter or Margerine
    50g/2oz Caster Sugar

    Preheat oven to 150c/300f/Gas 2
Cream the butter and caster sugar together until light and fluffy. Stir in the flour and once mixed knead the dough together until it forms a ball. Roll out on a floured surface and cut out.
Place biscuits on floured baking tray (we used baking parchment as well) in centre of the oven for 25 mins or until golden brown. We found they took ages to brown on number 2 so ended up turning the oven up to about number 5 to get them browned.
Dont take them off the tray until they are hardened (should harden once they cool) or they might break up.

This recipe would be nice for the biscuits you hang on the tree if you can get Xmassy cutters.

Off to do the garden, catch you later xx

    thanks for the challenges choccy:T
I am tempted to do the non mum challenge - that's what OH is here for to entertain the boys for 6 weeks:rotfl:
I love the idea of the scrapbook. they both had a notebook diary last year and wrote in it as and when not necessarily every day. I always keep tickets, postcards etc and most of them are still in a pile in my bedroom:eek: maybe if the boys do it they might actually get stuck in:D

Not sure if anyone has seen this on the New Woolworths site, but should tie in nicely with Choccys Challenge
    Movies for Junior's

    Whats on this week...

    BOLT - WALL E - Bedtime Story

    Participating Cinemas

Think this allows you to see the film for £1 each, up to 4 tickets per application, and putting name down does not Guarentee you getting in so make sure your there early. Hoping they will be running this offer over the 6 weeks holidays too.

I have been to wilkos and picked up 2 scrapbooks for the kids :) they were 60p each (nice and cheap) and have 20 pages in each :)

I haven't had a chance to write things down yet as I have been busy sorting out a present I had to make up for MIL! Hopefully I will get some time this afternoon/evening before OH is home and once kids are in bed!
