Forgot to add just now too - I've found LOADS of free online cross stitch christmas designs, ideal for cards. Yeay! I haven't done cross stitch for years, but have found all my old stuff, so going to do some cards this year - not for everyone, but just key people! Gives me something to do in the later months of this pregnancy too. lol Here's the link: http://shopping.originpublishing.com/charts_category.asp?category=5 Loads of other themed stuff on there too if anyone's interested.Addicted to Disneyland Paris!
:snow_grin Planning Christmas 2014! :snow_laugDD born 17th December 09!

Oh my goodness!! Many congratulations!! What a wonderfully busy and happy house you are going to have!
There are only 11 months between my two elder brothers - apparently my nana (my mum's mum)gave my dad an awful row! This was back in the sixties and my mum says it was the best thing because they practically grew up side by side and were actually in the same year at school. They are still the best of buddies today!

Morning all.
Quick question - I'm hoping to make a load of snowman poops for friends this year, but assuming I get marshmallows with a long enough sell by date, how long will they last once they are out of their own packed and into the cellophane bags I have?? Is it best to put the marshmallows in last minute? Or will they keep?
Thanks!!
Clare x
I main these last year about 3 weeks before christmas and the marshmallows started to dry out and do a bit hard so i would say leave them to the last minute.Baby Due Date 30/01/ 2013

cdsmiler - thanks for the cross stitch link.......I had a go at a little coaster for MIL earlier this year -first time ever - and found it very relaxing. Can't see me getting any more done this year but might well start again over the winter months -just might be ready for next christmas then.
Spent the afternoon having a battle with copydex, fabric and a notebook........... The glue kept bubbling and I got lumps and bumps under the fabric and had to start again - 3 times before I got lucky............intended to cover two notebooks today but gave up after the first one and went out and pulled some weeds up........:rotfl:
Thinking maybe PVA glue would be better. Used that before and didn't have problems.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I bought the same tea light holders a few weeks back, there fab and a great size. I also bought quite a few.
There are thick cardboard rings that seperate the glasses, i have kept mine to one side as i might decorate them as napkin rings or xmas decorations. Still thinking of ideas.
