    Vultures are overhead again.

I really do feel that the battle is lost - just going round and round in circles!

Bookie... 8 days :j dont let the vultures get you down, just think not long and it will be over. What day is the shop closing, I guess Friday. Well make sure you are online and we will have a farewell party :D

Pap - I get a bad back when running sometimes...its usually when you are offline slightly you could be getting that while walking - its possibly you are then sitting oddly and aggrevating it - I wonder if some ibroprofen gel would help the pain go away and then it coud heal and should get better...

If it carries on though - time for Docs - you dont want it to turn into chronic back pain :o

Thansk Becky, it maybe the way I sit indeed but if I sit skew-whiff it actually eases the pain :o I will monitor it and if need be go to the docs (where I will get he excess weight lecture) however its fine in work and usual walking (ie not me power walking). Such is life eh :T
Pap - before you rebuild the other chair... make sure your posture is spot on as you're sitting....

Knees at right angles to the chair but able to rest feet on the floor, lower your seat if need be, base of your back should be right back into the chair, elbows on out edge of the desk, keyboard the right distance away, top of screen level with eyeline....

The SuperMaz, you know I got an A in busniess studies so I should know this but you think I do it ~ of course not :rotfl: I slouch all the time or sit on my legs  If I sit 'correctly' I put my feet flate on the ledge of the desk and then make sure my back is straight etc... I must keep doing it though no matter how uncomfortable it may feel to me. Thanks so much :j

Ps no post so no Argos statement, do these compainies not understand you want to pay these bills :rotfl:

Definitely worth checking your posture Pap, and make sure you get up and stretch often enough. The best thing I ever did for my back was Pilates classes but can't get them cheap at work any more which is annoying!

If anyone sees me mentioning the possibility of buying anything in the next couple of weeks will you please tell me NO!!! Need all my money for holiday and not to use it as an excuse to buy bits and pieces (although I can't think what shoes I've got that will be good for walking lots in hot weather.... )

Do you know what, I've never met any of you (except Sammy) but I love you all.

Maz, he is insecure and it used to make me feel unbelievably high but now it is a big F * C K off ball and chain round my neck. I can't go anywhere cos he kicks off, and he's so miserable, he doesn't like people so we don't go out together either

Me thinks I need to start growing a backbone

Hugs Scorgy - been there, done that, my ex-OH used ring me all the time, "how are you, where are you", at first I thought "aw that's nice, he misses me, he's concerned, etc", then a few of my work colleagues used to shout everytime my phone rung "where are you now ?", which I used to laugh off.
Anyway loads & loads of other stuff happened & after we split up, he admitted that when I used to go out without him, that he always went to where ever it was to check that I was really there

PAP - totally agree with red squirrel. I had lower back pain that got worse when I ran. I saw a physio who taught me some pilates moves as it my weak stomach muscles that were putting a strain on my lower back.

Best few quid I ever spent, I never get back pain now...(unless I've fallen over drunk)
