Install a james bond style device that rotates the number plates automatically upon sensing a camera.0

I think you'll find this approach won't work - you can't safely read a map whilst driving."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -

I have been looking into getting a speed camera detector, but i am not sure what to get.
I have already got snooper unit but don't like how it works and all the false warnings
I am looking for a GPS unit as i have heard these are better.
Can anybody help?
Save your money and drive within the speed limits, people like you are a menace on the road, speed camera's are there with saftey in mind and you should be more respectful of the saftey of other motorists.0 -

Do you really believe that?
If speed camera really are there for safety and only put up in accident blackspots then surely knowing in advance that you are approaching an accident blackspot can only be a good thing?
It is only you and the rest of the do-gooders that is presuming that everyone with 'safety' camera alerts is driving at silly mph.0 -
Plus if you take one of these devices to France the police will shoot you (or something like that)

Using tomtom type GPS devices (with cameras plotted on the maps) is legal in France.0

Observation is a pretty cheap way of doing it.
If you want a technological solution then you need:
-GPS based system
-laser jammer
That still won't protect you against being timed between two objects though.Happy chappy0 -
Snooper Sd4r
Detects laser and radar on all bands. sure it doesnt have GPS but you get to know if the cameras are working!0
