Which speed camer detector do i get?

I have been looking into getting a speed camera detector, but i am not sure what to get.

I have already got snooper unit but don't like how it works and all the false warnings

I am looking for a GPS unit as i have heard these are better.

Can anybody help?

    I've looked into these on the past,

    I haven't seen a fully positive review on any of them, they all seem a bit too erratic and unreliable, so much so, that you simply can't rely on it, so what's the point??

    Seems more of a scam than anything, to get you to sign up for your fantastic monthly membership fees etc etc etc...

    I don't think I will ever bother.

    A copy of the highway code and a map book will do you. The map book for the road classification and the highway code for the speed limit on said roads.

    like most other people have said - the cheapest way to go about it is not to speed in the first place

    What I would do is get a Tom Tom GPS (make sure it has Point of Interest categories that can be edited - think they all do but not 100%) then spend £19 a year subscribing to the database of https://www.pocketgpsworld.co.uk. You will be able to post there a question on the forums asking which models are suitable.
