I'm sure they buyer would know whether he, or a neighbour signed for this item and should be able to provide this information for you.
My guess is that the locker boys in the PO have not scanned the delivery card back in and so that is why it's not linked.
As per a previous post - as the seller it is up to you to refund the money, then claim back off Royal mail after 15 days. Provide all the information you can. Important point is that they will only refund the value of the item (up to £32) not the postage, there are exceptions to this - but it is rare to get postage back as well.
If you accept paypal. It is imperative you always send items via a trackable method - or you're stuffed via a claimback from them. Dont give up on ebay or royal mail - both are pretty good as it goes.
One last point - bear in mind that the postage costs will be changing for bulky items etc in (i think) August this year - so if you've anything bulky to sell which weighs little, check out the new pricing and get selling them before the new prices kick in.0 -
Ah right thanks for that - he has received it now but still hasn't left my feedback (I still have no feedback
) I also got a little shock in the way of ebay's charges which seem to include a 5.25% final cut in addition to the initial listing fee. Instead of £13.99 I've only actually got around £12 after Paypal's CC fee and ebay's fees. Next time I'll add a couple of quid to the postage cost. 0 -
Ebay take a final value fee as well as the listing fee, and as you say there is also the paypal fee as well.
