No surprise, but it came back with the following message...

Muppets.
Someone should notify the Q&A
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I hope everyone boycots the petition, whilst i am not in favour of big brands imposing unfair trading conditions on secondhand goods etc, Ebay have had it coming for a long time, they screw you on fees they scree you by having to use paypal and then they screw you with charge backs.
After all the help i havent recieved from ebay i certainly am not raising a finger to help them.

Am I the only person that actually signed the bloody thing?
Next time someone creates a thread about VERO blocking their listings, I wonder how many people will admit to having the chance to do something to eradicate the VERO program and choosing not to.
Of course they'll pass your details on. The whole point of a petition is that it's got your name and address on it. Also, itsays in the Ts+Cs when you join ebay (and Paypal for that matter, and they've got your bank details) that they can pass on your details. :rolleyes:If you read the privacy policy they can pass your details on to third parties.
Into the trash can it goes.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

Credit where it is due, but it looks like this issue is going start raising it's head much more frequently in the near future.
Yep, I was a sceptic to the reasoning behind it all, although I think in the end I did sign it, but the law has been passed, and L'Oreal are the first to take advantage.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
Think on this, if it were a genuine Ebay email, then why has it not appeared in 'Messages' within 'My Ebay'?,
Anyway, who wants to sign my petition to ban ebay from only allowining e-payments via Paypal?

It was genuine, and did appear in the ebay messaage inbox, as well as the general announcements section - http://www2.ebay.com/aw/uk/200907081002392.html
The point is that the petition obviously failed, possibly due to apathy, and now the EU have passed the law that allows the restriction of trade that ebay were canvasssing signatures for.
As Dave points out above, when our listings are removed from eBay through VERO/Copyright etc, how many of us can put our hands up and say "we tried to change the law?", and how many will just continue to whinge about another ebay problem, when it is not ebay that have put this in place?<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
