Right.. looking at that I need to order Jacobs mattress, slop over the kitchen, do a shopping list for tomorrow and fold the washing tonight... I want to get a pile of ebay stuff photographed ready to list over the next week or so.. I can do that between falling asleep, appointments and meetings!!

Tomorrow I need to mop.. hallway and kitchen, throw out the ancient table, and strip ALL the beds in the house... I'll find clean sheets for the childrens beds now I think. I also have 2 ebay parcels to post.

Oh.. Jacobs cot needs wiping over and constructing so he can sleep in it tomorrow.. thankfully the bedding is already clean and dry ready to box for the move to the new house.

I don't have an actually date for them coming home yet, apparently the house they are moving into still has a family in it who are waiting for the council to pull their finger out and get them somewhere else, the house will then be repainted, cleaned etc and new carpets/furniture if needed then they can move back. :D

They should be back tomorrow lunch time for the weekend though which will be wonderful!

it is great to see how many people have completed all 5 things off their 'to-do' list... I am so very proud of you all.. you've done great... any ideas on a challenge for next week or do we need another list the same?

Been to Tesco, had dinner (Rabbit Stew) -

Actually Swinstie, rabbit stew is lovely if you do it right....
Rosep - I had wondered about the dressing up at JW conventions. When they come here everyone is dressed up in pretty skirts and shirts and dresses and the blokes are all in suits. Even the children seem to be in their 'Sunday Best'. From what you've just said they do that on purpose. It's nice to see.

Carlsberggal - hope your DS arrives home safely must be v. soon now. And you winge away about the estate agents love. I worked in one for a few months many moons ago and I understand it all from your side of the counter. Now DS and DiL are looking (last time I looked was 20 odd years ago) I am appreciating it from the other side of the counter. The biggest asset you need to have from both sides of the fence is a sense of humour! xx

Piggers - Hope you have a lovely weekend with Jacob et al. I'm sure you will. Give adopted DiL my heartiest birthday wishes. You enjoy yourself too, please xx

  • Thankyou Carlsberggal - will feel relieved when they have actually moved - hopefully soon!!

You can call me 'Me' you know - I can't remember why I picked a such a stupid and long name - it is the dim and distant past.....

I was thinking on the way home from work that it is satisfying to list what we have done - it is loads - even those of us who feel that we dont do that much as we are at work - we do actually do a fair bit IYSWIM......

OMG - I have started to absorbed the flylady mantra !! The process of change has begun........
