No, I didn't do all that today, just caught up with the thread, it's been one of those weeks. I don't think I'll get the kitchen done, I'll have to leave it till next week. As I've been so busy, I haven't done the challenge either. I may just possibly list my five curtains to hem next week and do one each day...

Last week of term next week, and I am really looking forward to it. The first draft of the tmetable was given out on Thursday, and it's really not great - almost all of the classes are shared, and I have mostly Year 7, only one of the Year8's I wanted, a Year 9 bottom set for Spanish (which I don't speak and have never taught) and no GCSE group either, although I only asked if I could have one lesson with that group. We're all short of free lessons, as the Head has taken the decision to remove one from each member of staff (despite the Work Load agreement) to make the budget work as we're supposed to 'rarely cover' from September. Roll on the holiday!

:hello: to all my flylady friends!!!

OK,I have been examining my money spending online and was shocked to discover about £500 I have taken out of the co-ops atm.....in Mr.t, I use my card and most shopping I use my card, so that money was for "bits".....Not good, have looked at the weekly spend callenge thread and decided to do that from Sunday, this can NOT go on.......
Sorry mini rant there, thanks for listening xx

I have just vowed to have a whole month of 'no spend days'. Maybe a little rash but we discovered today that we are over our overdraft limit. Then DH went to the pub as he has some cash in his pocket. He has gone to look for work.

Serena - sorry to hear about your timetable

Embb - did you get the teacher you wanted? I didn't but the one I wanted has been replaced in that year by a newbie, I got the other one but at least most of DS3s friends are still in his class.

Confession time ......................... I was making carrot and orange soup and was totally knackered - grating the orange was a killer for me - the carer came in as I was trying to squeeze the orange and took over - i was very breathless - so after lunch i sat in the sun for 30 mins then came in and had a sleep for an hour and now i am ok.
    toots xx

Toots, take it easy love. I'm wishing I hadn't sent you those recipes last night! If you do cook them up then pace yourself. Or get your carers to do it. Don't bust a gut xxx

    Rosep enjoy your weekend
Pen-pen - don't you just hate it when they do the film or series of the book and just randomly change bits....
Oooh Carlsberggal it's really interesting seeing the other side of the estate agent story! Keep us updated - often!

I have done some ironing but not enough to warrant an extra award. I will do my best to finish it tomorrow.
