    I'm back........:D

Recieved the now seemingly normal questionnaire.
However, not sure if to fill in or not. It's not too invasive tbh, but it asks when the policy was taken out for example and I cant remember. It goes back at least to 05/06.

It was one of those applications that just appears through the post at random. You know, fill it in, send off and hey presto you have a card.

It also asks about employment status at the time.

Now I'm "fairly" sure I was self employed at the time (not 100%), so PPI would have been useless. However, this is beside the point, as I NEVER ask for ppi on loans or cards.

Where it says "date of policy" on the form, should I just put "refer to the details you hold on file about me"??

    Anyway Leggy, you ok??........:D

Can you perhaps ask for a copy of the agreement from them or just call their normal customer services and ask when you opened the account perhaps???

Also what reasons did you give for misselling? Did you use the self employed as a reason cause sometimes you are actually covered for number one and number two you need to make sure you are arguing something that is true.

    Thanks,

I put forward about being s/e but also that I have NEVER asked for ppi on any loan or c card.

If they are investigating, is there any need to ask for the start date? Surely they will have this on file, on the original agreement / documents? and will need it to investigate anyway!

    Thanks again

I would think you would be OK without the start date on your complaint. If you have the account number and they are already investigating then its fine already but just thought you wanted it for yourself to check things out.;)

Hello there.........:D, I'm fine thank you.;) Hope your well also.:j

So you received one of those questionnaires that many are receiving recently, I think now for many its part of their procedures.

I would ask them to refer to your letter you sent dated XX/XX/XXXX and also to refer to your account details.
Answer them to the best of your knowledge if you can otherwise as suggested above.

If you no agreement to this though, worth asking for this, so this way the dates are shown on the agreement, another possible way would be to apply for a credit report, think they cost about £2, from maybe Experian or Equifax, google them in, some may also be free for a certain amount if time as well.;)
Your credit report should show anything you have taken out in finance for up to the last 6 years, with dates as well, and hopefully account numbers as well etc.

They must still get back by the 8 weeks they have.
    Good luck with this.

    Thanks again,

I'll fill the form in, but either refer them to my previous letter, or ask them to refer to their own records, on that I can't / don't want to answer.

I'll whizz it off tomorrow and keep you posted....;)

Or the free trials with Experian etc and print it all off and cancel the account before the 30 days end. You do have to remember to do this though otherwise you can get charged.;)
