It would need to be moderated by Board Guides.
I don't have the time to do it at the moment as I'm getting married next weekend, but would be willing to help out in the future. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Yes, Congratulations Becs
Is it the Postie chap. I remember you meeting him when you were on the old board. Thought it was nice you had met someone you ahd 'clicked' with.0 -

.
Board guides don't moderate that is made clear when we volunteer. We really sort of keep our boards tidy, remove contentious threads so they can be moderated properly by one of the Forum team, and generally try to see that people abide by the forum rules.
In my opinion I don't think any BG could easily keep up with any forum that deals with a topic that we should not be talking about openly in public, A BG would need to know the rules of every single market research company to make sure no one broke any of the rules by posting publicly.
If any mystery shoppers want a chat forum wouldn't it be easier to open a Google group or Yahoo group or something similar that can be controlled by a cross section of their members?

Sorry - moderate was a bad choice of word
I meant a board guides who have previous mystery shopping experience would be able to remove anything posted that wasn't allowed - eg if someone said they had been to Dorothy Perkins, a BG would change it to "a clothes shop".
I was asked to post this request as a long standing MSE member on behalf of the newbies, so the idea isn't properly thought out to be honest! Here I go again on my own....0 -
A nice corner on here would be great, but in desperation for somewhere to natter, I came across this site http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/lilys_mystery_shoppers_uk/, it looks like it has not been used for a while, but I am sure us rejects could liven it up a bit.
Not wishing to take members away from here though.0 -

That seems a good idea choccieholic at least then its more work related.I haven't looked at it, but perhaps the MSUK people who didn't get an invite could join that and It would be more private for them.0 -

Unfortunately reading all the posts and editing to that extent would exceed the BG remit.
