New forum - Mystery shopping

As you'll see from this thread:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=178823
we have many new members who have arrived from a mystery shopping forum as they can no longer post there.

Is it possible to have our own little corner on MSE somewhere, where people can talk about mystery shopping, merchandising and auditing jobs? There have been a number of threads on the subject already scattered all over MSE before.

All those in favour say Aye!
Here I go again on my own....

I didn't think though that Mystery shoppers were supposed to talk about what they do?

You can't say today I did a visit to *shop* for *company*, or offer specific guidance on how to complete a job - people need to go back to the company if they need help like that.

It's ok to offer general support to each other as long as shop/company names & fees are not mentioned. It's a lonely job and you can't natter about it in the canteen like other jobs. I was on a mystery shopping course last week and it was lovely chatting to other shoppers and finding out about how they plan their days and stuff.

I do some Mystery Shopping and would like a dedicated thread so I could look at it Daily whilst I browse my usual Pigsback and Boots etc. I am not sure how it would work though?
Client confidentiality is really important how do we implement that? and who would have time to Monitor the thread Becles.
( As Mystery Shoppers we are overworked and underpaid at the best of times.)
From the postings on MSUK thread I escaped quickly fearing getting into a row. Some very rude people have replied. I replied and got shot down.
If you can give the thread some structure I would look in, as I am sure any MS's on MSE would.

IMO I think we have to wonder why the other forum first of all closed the forum down then opened again by invitation only. Already the squabbling has transferred to MSE and I fail to see the moneysaving aspect of that.

As you've stated, mystery shopping advice has been covered on here before. I personally don't think that is merits a whole board for the subject.

The last thing we need to do is encourage any more 'cliques' or corners which can lead to squabbling and unpleasantness. I think I can understand why the forum in question has chosen to 'forget' certain members.

MSE has its problems with infighting etc. I'd like to see this site open to all and wouldn't want to encourage the new 'migrants' from the other forum to settle off into their own corner, to be perfectly honest.
