Nacho's are easy - bag of tortilla chips on a dinner plate - make a hole in the middle and add a couple of big spoons of salsa. Add a bit of chopped chilli all over and cover the middle with grated cheddar and or mozzarella. Stick in oven for about 8-10 minutes. Lush :D

    My recipe is

    1 bag of doritos
    1 jar of dorito salsa

    Method

open bag, pour into bowl if feeling posh otherwise use the bag supplied

open jar again pour into bowl if guests are coming otherwise the jar will do

    dip and scoff ;)

Toto - it is the small things, yes. I still see occasional things and the rose coloured glasses go back on about my ex , songs remind me of holidays etc and although I never look at it, I would never get rid of my engagement ring, although to be honest, it is worthless as it was a cheap one I chose to start with!

I think if you hadn't have met Fran - and you'd have married - you would have endured more of the same (and the stuff that was in the press which I won't put in detail so not to identify him - I always think he's the kind of person to google himself!) and he'd have expected to come back to you with more gifts etc......

You have a wonderful husband and beautiful children, I would either put it at the back of the drawer where it has been sleeping all this time........or sell it and use the money for something nice - that is just for you.

ahhh - the way to a man's heart...

BTW - if he dumps you then it's through the chest with a big knife! but he won't.

    Aww thanks :)

I've given my head a shake, and I'm cool about it now. I still think things have changed between us, but it hasn't helped that he has been genuinely extremely busy - and neither of us were expecting to meet someone we liked, so it does take a while to rebalance life to fit in someone new.

So I'm giving him a bit of time, and seeing what happens. I'm not 'in love' yet (I think I could fall for him, but I'm trying to be cautious). So if it doesn't work, I will be okay (ish!).

At this precise moment, he will be up a mountain somewhere, after a 17 mile 'mountain marathon', with another 15 miles to run tomorrow. Even after a weekend like that, he still wanted to come and spend the night with me on Monday (as it happens, we can't - but that's just circumstances). So maybe I got stressed over nothing.

    We will see. :)

I sold my wedding and engagement rings last year. I'm a hard unfeeling bit of work. I did have a wee weep though.
