Does anyone have a nice mexican salsa recipe - not like you get in a jar, but like you get in a restaurant, that's more of a lightly dressed salad of finely chopped tomatoes, onions etc? Just something simple and fresh.

I've googled, but a lot of them seem over-complicated for a little side-dish!

No but I'm bloomin wishing I did now!:rotfl:

big time bloke trouble :( She hasn't posted since mid June, I remember she was having internet problems a while back.

    Oh no !!!

Wol posted a pic this week of her and Smashed dolled up for a night out, and they both looked fab, so glam and happy. I hope any problems get sorted out soon :(

    ok - my salsa

Fresh tomatoes - chopped - ideally remove the liquidy bit in the middle but not the end of the world if you don't
1 red onion chopped. can be swapped for spring onions or a normal onion, but that makes it quite strong if you use a normal one.
    1 chilli - chopped
    lime juice to taste
chopped fresh coriander - big handful - you guessed it - chopped.

Ideally leave for about 10 minutes before serving.

Fresh mango is lush in this but not necessary.

    :rotfl: Sorry! :D

I like salsa from a jar, but want to make mexican food from scratch, so it's slightly more impressive. ;)
