  • I just purchased my first property and the completion took place a few weeks ago. I have NO paper work from Wolstenholmes but since the otherside received the money the sale went ahead. Problem now is that I am still waiting for my deeds! Massive panic especially from my parents who helped fund it... Any advice on who to contact since my solicitor (Birmingham branch) is out of reach?
  • We act for Mr Nasir Ilyas. Mr Nasir Ilyas was a former member of Wolstenholmes LLP. He was not a director or member of the practice at the time the Law Society sought to close the practice. We are presently advising Mr Ilyas in respect of his legal remedies against the Solicitors Regulation Authority and against the owners of Wolstenholmes LLP at the time of the Law society’s Intervention. Mr Ilyas denies any wrongdoing or dishonesty. We are also advising Mr Ilyas in respect of all false and libellous comments which are being made against him on this forum

It seriously does help if people are able to read the back postings. This forum contains everything you need to know and more on Wolstenholmes and about getting your paperwork or money owed.

You will need to contact the intervening agents DWF whose contact details are listed above.

If you feel confident about your client's case, then no doubt you are doing it all on a "no win, no fee" basis. Can you confirm that this is the case? ;)

If he's such a good solicitor, surely he can represent himself? ;)

Just another news article which mentions that WH solicitors are not the only ones in trouble

It would only be false or libellous if SRA had not received proof of his wrong doings. NI may not be CE of WH when intervention happened, but his wrong doings have been going of for some time, again SRA have received proof of this. You have your work cut out !!!

If, as you say, Mr Ilyas...
... was not a director or member of the practice at the time the Law Society sought to close the practice. ...

... why has he been suspended? Just curious.

What has been said by us, has been said by us. There is nothing that can be done to take it back and we do not want to take it back.If Mr Ilyas is innocent in all this then why would hundreds of people have the same opinion of his illicit dealings?

Do you really think we all would be wasting our time fabricating opinions? That miraculously and coincidentally we have all had the same p*ss poor service from Wolstenholmes including thousands of pounds accounted for?! Most of what is on this forum is FACT. The liars are the ones who post as Wolstenholmes staff, which doesn't bode well when one staff member took back everything he said when he wasn't paid by the company.

Of course he is going to deny any wrong doing! All Wolstenholmes staff and owners are going to do the same thing, they continued to do so until the SRA rightly closed them down.

Good luck with representing Mr Ilyas, you are surely going to need it
