• Option 3 - I would suggest the Daily Mail. They like to get their teeth into things. They also have a very useful reader's comments section after most articles on their website.

I contacted Martin Lewis and he suggested contacting Tony Hertherington. I found out some details for him that he works for the Daily Mail or used to, I emailed him but the email was returned. Can anyone find any contact details for him?

Google got me this far:
No email address known for Tony Hetherington.
You could try contacting MailOnline (Telephone: 0207 938 6000).
Based on the standard email format for MailOnline, the email address might be tony.hetherington@dailymail.co.uk or t.hetherington@dailymail.co.uk.
• Yea, thats the email address I found a few days ago but no such luck :(
• This has been a very interesting thread i will avoid like the plague!

See this page:
http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/contact-us
Tony Hetherington's direct email isn't listed here, but there is an editorial team with several addies listed about halfway down the page. They say the best one to use is for the Editor.

You could maybe start the message by saying you had intended it should be for TH's attention as Martin has specifically recommended you contact him?
There's also a postal address.

TH's regular weekly columns are listed here as an archive:

(only the main topic listed, but each column usually contains several pieces)

Wolstenholmes havent even paid some off there staff salary for the month of december 2009 !!!!!!!!! Due to the sra have frozen the accounts ................ What a joke !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whilst I am sympathetic to you not being paid I am not sorry. All of you who worked there knew what was going on and none of you sounded the alarm and even now if it wasn't for you not being paid we wouldn't hear a peep from you. Think of the hundreds who have endured a miserable Christmas which includes me, no home and no money.

If the SRA have frozen the accounts and I would like to know when they did so, then it is so people like me can have our hard earned cash back and maybe get some sleep.

P. S Most of the staff deserve not to be paid as they did sweet FA anyway!
• How many of the employees raised their concerns with the SRA and LCS?
• Hi all, I have recently instructed these so called solicitors to act for us in our buying and selling proccess. I thought I had saved ourselves a few quid by searching online instead of using a recommendation from our estate agents (more fool me!!) I was told I would be dealing with the Bham branch which is where I sent our completed paperwork (which we had to print out ourselves, but I did not mind if I was saving a few hundred quid) and I was quite suprised at how quickly they returned my I.D. I then received an email on 14 Dec saying Bham branch was closing on the 18 Dec (I thought for the xmas period) and someone from heald green would contact me shortly, but heard nothing. Someone from my estate agents told me to check them out as she heard they had closed so I started phoning all the numbers I had and suprise! suprise! all the telephone messages were the same even the Bham branch which supposed to be now closed! My alarm bells were now ringing aloud I thought they should at least advise their customers or potential new ones! via their telephone systems of their closing and opening times over the festive period. This is when I searched and found you guys thankyou for all your posts I think I will opt for a new solicitor!!
