ring me and I will clarify.

I can't see why you cannot address this publicly as it is a concern for more than just this individual, And it is not just this person, the bulk majority if not all of your staff are from heald green, including the receptionist!- How would you explain this?

Is it true that you and Imran Hussain have a secret understanding behind closed doors as allot of people are debating? I Know its true that you took staff from the heald green offices to save on set up costs and agents fee's for recruitment etc Also the fact that maybe not ALL of the files but a substantial amount of files have made their way to your firm

You clearly saw this comming so the nessecary steps were taken to ensure at least some interests were protected. This is all sounding a bit fishy to me. There are also rumours that you are not squeeky clean yourself and believed to be involved in a shooting and linked to manchester's underworld, hmm
  • Hi am new to this, but have been reviewing the threads about WOLSTENHOLMES recently because I have also been cheated, misled and had problems with contacting a Solicitor, Member or the Managing Partner. I was advised by a friend this was due to happen once a company called Home Solicitors was setup.

I noticed this when i heard about all the complaints, issue and visits from the SRA Wolstenholmes was getting. This was a way out for the Managing Partner Imran Hussain, by setting up Home Solicitors and getting an ex employee Gavin Wall to front it while he takes WOLSTENHOLMES down.

If you have a look at the websites and quotes they are very similar. Over the last month when the complaints increased Imran Hussain and Helen Murgatroyd started to with immediate effect terminate staff employment on a Friday, but on the following Monday the same staff would have employment with HOME SOLICITORS and appear on there website.

I hear that Imran and his merry men from Home Solicitors intend to start fresh in the new year with a new name and branding for Wolstenholmes.....HOME SOLICITORS of course.

Good luck to them, but what comeS around goes around.

THE ONLY ADVISE I WILL GIVE TO EVERYONE IS TO STAY WELL CLEAR OF BOTH COMPANIES OR IS IT ONE....!!!!!!

    Thanks

    Krystal

i have just learned that wolstenholmes is infact home solicitors llp. They are both the same entity (well not legally) they have been exchanging work with each other and the majority of people who work there are originally employees of wolstenholmes, there has been a secret deal between gavin wall and imran hussain. There is just way too much in common between the two, i knew it!

    who would you trust....???
    Imran hussain or gavin wall
    or
    wolstenholmes or home solicitors
  • Hi all, i have been reading some of the comments and i would just like to clear up some details and then i will not be on here again because somebody else has also logged in as MOOngate and i do not want to be associated with them or their comments. I have said before i am a previous staff member of Wolstenholmes. I stress i am NOT a solicitor i was admin staff who was lucky to get out and now work in an office which is not law related. Nasir Ilyas owned the company and brought in two non solicitors, Waseem Saddique and Mario Cardinali, just a side line Ashma Quereshi is Nasirs wife and employee. They put staff under so much pressure and didn't have a clue what they were doing. They have since brought in Imran Hussain. I have been informed that they have sold thousands of conveyancing files to another solicitor, this should not have happened without your written consent, so if the other solicitors call you, they may be great, but ask why they have taken then file on without your consent. but my best advice would be, nothing beats face to face contact with your high street solicitor, there are some good ones out there, honest. if you don't know one then ask friends, neighbours or even the local estate agents. I just want to wish you all well and good luck.
    lots of love moongate

at first glance this looks like wolstenhomes "re-created" ....

A good idea to hide the bad, create a new and start again. Would not touch these guys with a barge pole.

Old staff are working there and the site has a simialr resemblance. No mention of when company was created and looks like a "fresh" look / created company.

Not worth a risk, but they could be legit. Would u risk it>?
    .

Look at Companies House you will see incorporation date as 7/8/2009.
  • I've filled in the Watchdog form. We are owed thousands in compensation and refunds. WE CANT LET THIS HAPPEN TO OTHER PEOPLE. The Law Society are taking so long, let take this into our own hands.

I'm absolutely amazed by the twists and turns this thread is taking. I've filled in the Watchdog form too. These people need to be named and shamed at the very least. Good luck to all with outstanding conveyancing issues

Wolstenholmes LLP is STILL trading and will continue to do so. It should also be noted that this firm has been here since 1818. For those ignorant of the Administration or Insolvency process it is clear that this company is not insolvent, indeed far from it. We have notified all regulatory bodies of the large number of unfounded potentially defamatory and ill-informed comments about this practice. We should also add that we are continuing to exchange and complete on a large number of transactions with satisfied clients.
