Oh, and Laura Wilson used to work for Wolstenholmes if Homes Solicitors are indeed a new firm... I'm glad my conveyancing is finally complete so I don't have to waste my time wondering if I was going to be homeless or not

all i can say is that I know that Mr Wall left Wolstenholmes because he didn't like the way they did things and he also took some of the better staff with him to start again. He is actually a really descent guy and is trying to start again after the nightmare that was Wolstenholmes.

I just cant believe the lack communication and information from wolstenholmes.
If its true they are subcontracting the work out why dont they just announce it?

I too are using wolstenholmes for the sale and purchase of my property.
Meant to be exchanging and completing on Friday 18th. My buyers solicitor seems to think everything is in order and thats what is going to happen. I cant get hold of wolstenholmes to confirm everything is in order.

The thing im scared about is my sale is not linked to my purchase as my buyer wants so save himself the Stamp Duty as part of the deal and my sellers are not quite
ready till after xmas, as i have somewhere to stay till then. So if the sale goes ahead and compleats on friday wolstenholmes will have all my money for my new house HELP!

I no longer want to use them for the purchase but dont know what to do.
They have not returned my emails or phone calls as i want my money to me.
If i try and use another solicitor now my buyer will pull out.
I just dont know what to do.

Any advice would be appreciated

Hi. My friend (buyer) just exhanged this week and is expecting to complete within the next few days.

Any suggestions on what the best thing to do is? (remembering they have the exchange money).

sorry, the post before from ImranHussain - i take it you are not the same Imran Hussain that is on the top of the staff list and current Managing Partner of Wolstenholmes.

Old staff are working there and the site has a simialr resemblance. No mention of when company was created and looks like a "fresh" look / created company.

If anyone else has any concerns over Home Solicitors (which I confirm again is nothing to do with Wolstenholmes) then all I can say is try it for yourself.

Unfortunately, I can only offer for people to speak to me if they have any concerns and I feel sickened by this whole affair.

This is a case of us being dragged into someone else's dispute.

Well looks like we will be exchanging Friday 18th,and completing Monday 21st,why because our buyer looked at the Red Flags,and got her file Tues,and was able to get another solicitor[Not Woolstenholmes],but another local solicitor!!!
