I'd get him to look round, or maybe have a word for his careers advisor. the better paid jobs ( london based of course) showed Korean,Japanese paid about 10k more. BUt he cant learn all the languages in the world, my mate who does it doesnt speak/ read any other language apart from ordering a biere in french. Wouldnt get too hung up on the qualifications if i were you!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best

  • My debt, although not huge, came from Uni. Loads of people think that students live the high life, getting drunk on a regular basis, etc, etc. My student loan covered my accommodation (just) and I worked about 25 hours a week to buy food and do at least some of the things that were expected of student life. (Yes, this eventually involved a CC).

Then in my final year, the OH and I thought it would be a brilliant idea to get a car. It was not. Although I have just cleared that debt, I still regret buying the car as we would have had a nice deposit for a house about now. Grrr.

That's why I love this board, because now, I can at least laugh at it all and work towards that deposit.
How long til pay day?
