What Caused Your Debt in the First Place

You can come back from £31,000. Dont give up your flat if you can help it.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

My biggest debt was caused by husband's business loans. He took on loans to buy into a business, but due to the colossal fees and interest in repaying them, we got behind when he wasn't making much money, and even now he has new career, still paying off large business debts. The equivalent of buying a small house mortgage.
(I can just about handle the personal debt, just a few credit cards and a loan totally under £3000.)keep smiling,

Best bet i'd say is to look in the ads at the back of EDGE and GAMEStm magazines - software houses are always advertising in there for programmers etc, and although there may not be a lot of testing jobs advertised, you can always contact the companies through their contact details.
Be warned, however, that games testing is not as fun as it may sound - think of it more like "bug spotting" - unfinished games need to be tested, and your son may well end up playing the same level of Lara Crofts' latest escapade (for example) over and over and over again. Essentially, you're not getting paid to PLAY games, rather you're getting paid to BREAK games, if you see what I mean...?
Also, a degree of proficiency in English/report writing is required, as these bugs need to be reported back accurately.
Hope this helps, and good luck. The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.

My son is very good at English so this might be an option. Are any qualifications needed do you know?grex9101 wrote:Best bet i'd say is to look in the ads at the back of EDGE and GAMEStm magazines - software houses are always advertising in there for programmers etc, and although there may not be a lot of testing jobs advertised, you can always contact the companies through their contact details.

My mate has a degree in IT, but that wasnt one of the pre-requisites of the job. He did however, have some IT work experience, he did a bit of IT support in the uni library.. I guess the computer driving license would be handy ( and a breeze for him, well for most teenagers lol) and they cost about £40 round here.

Depends where you are I guess? Doesnt seem to be any specific qualifications needed:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Thanks for that Lynz. He has those listed skills. Trouble is at the moment hes doing AS levels in English, Geography, Business & Media studies. However, i will put it to him. It might well provide him with some motivationThe forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

i see that language is an advantage. Hes got German and French GCSE C grade (the only 2 he got) but hes not exactly fluent. On his retakes hes already got a B in English and a C in Maths so maybe he could do something like that. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
