My mum always hides the batteries until about New Year when everyone forgets about things needing batteries :rotfl:0 -

I know everyone already knows that Mr T, Mr S etc are selling tins of Quality Street etc at £5 per tin but (awkward to the last) I wanted Roses and the cheapest I'd seen was £12 for 2 however, in Iceland today they were selling them for £5 a tin:j
For anyone who likes Fitflops (I wore mine day and night for a year and a half and then the toe thong snapped:mad:) Avon are selling a very similar item for £18 and you get a free digital skipping rope with it (a great presie for my keep-fit mad DIL) They are doing free delivery online (I think it is over £25 - I rang to ask about a product and the advisor told me). Sorry the exact details are at home and I'm at work:o I bought hair serums, manicure sets etc to use for stocking fillers and am very pleased with what I got:D0 -

I'm really not sure what to get my mum at all. She doesnt drink, doesnt like chocolate, doesnt use make up, has sensitive skin so can't use many bath products and complains if I buy her clothes because they're always too big because she's so small. :rotfl: If you can help with ideas for her, I'd really appreciate it!
My mum is just the same! I am buying her flannelette duvet covers, fitted sheets and pillowcases as she feels the cold. Am going to get her a pair of fleecy PJs and snuggly sox but she may well never wear them!:D0 -

I have stumbled across some very cheap jewellery items on Amazon. I have ordered 4 of the dolphin bracelets @ £0.79 each for my young nieces (5-10 years)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silver-Dolphin-Bracelet-Olivia-Collection/dp/B000XAE2II/ref=pd_sim_jewelry_6
and various other necklaces/bracelets for my older teenage nieces form the Olivia collection and Pewterhooter (2 bracelets at £0.40 each!)
I am going to make up Christmas goodie bags for my teenage nieces and these are a fab find.:j:j
I placed the order today and have already received notification that they have shipped.:TMust learn not to count chickens before they are hatched!!!!:D
Every day is a new challenge not a new problem!:p
SW start 08/01/14 4/21lbs (1st target) :j0 -
Had a nice day today, picked up the Boots Chrimbo book (as always, found more things that I'd like than I think would make good gifts for other people, but will probably pick up a few things from there anyway so I can sneak something in as my Christmas present to myself from Mr B
)
Made two Mario Mushroom hama bead coasters/magnets last night, wanted to make a full set of four but ran out of black so will have to order a bagful I think :rolleyes:
Also raided my mam's sewing box and found a handful of mismatched buttons for my half eaten gingerbreads, haven't had a look at whether I'd prefer them all to be the same or whether it would add to the charm of them for them all to be odd shapes and sizes, but all the same colour? Will have to have a little test in abit.
Also my mam took me for dinner and bought me a lovely big winter coat today so I'm definately feeling wintery and Christmassy!D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0 -

You're lucky your mum feels the cold :rotfl:Mine doesnt. She's always opening windows and turning fans on even when it's about 2C. It's like.. gahh.. xD0 -

Her skin reacts to a lot of jewellery so I have to be really careful with what I buy but that could be an option. She does like music but normally downloads any songs she wants so it's hard to get anything she hasnt already downloaded0
