Hi guys,
I'm trying to do a hamper for my niece and nephew for Christmas. My niece is into Hannah Montana, so easy peasy - loads of stuff around but I'm really struggling with my nephew who loves spongebob. I've got him pyjamas (primark) and some socks (poundland) but am struggling for other boy related spongebob stuff - any ideas
Want to bulk it out as much as possible, and usually spend about £20, so he's got at least another £10.
My niece has loads - pjs, socks, mug, books, dvd, even a hannah montana box to put it all in!
thanks:beer:Poundland do plastic storage boxes in yellow, you could get one to put his bits and bobs in? (yellow for spongebob) My niece is spongebob mad too.
B&M have chocolate coins for 49p a bag, I got some yesterday.
Sainsburys have Terry's chocolate oranges (all varieties) BOGOF for £2.
Both cheaper than Tesco. :jI LOVE orange chocolate.

Anyone any idea where I can pick up a cheap writing set that comes in it's own box with drawers?Oooo just had a thought - I don't know if any of you lovely people can help. Hubby used to love those big tubes of orange smarties but you could only ever get them from Woolworths. We've seen pink ones, but it's the orange ones he likes. I've never seen them anywhere else. Has anyone seen them anywhere??
Thanks!
Clare xThanks I need to go to Tesco later
I've made the mistake of getting all of my presents out of my secret hideaways... I don't want to put them back now I want to wrap them, where does everyone get there paper from, I love Boots wrapping paper but it's so expensive... I'm thinking of getting this paper for all of DS toys, does this seem like a good buy - 36m for £7.99??'They only had one cow!'0 -
Thanks moneysavingmumofone
I found some cheaper yesterday. A local bits and bobs store is closing down and they've brought out all of their christmas stock and reduced it all before they close down - wrapping paper was on sale for 18m for £2 (3 rolls of 6m) so I looked like a looked like a looney wandering around with 12 rolls stuck in the bottom of DS buggy I then saw in Card Factory they had 3 x 1m rolls for £1 - so i bought 6 of them too :rotfl:, OH was i was made as I filled up my Wrapping paper organiser!!! (I've been dying to try it out!!) I'm off in hunt of tags now - I haven't seen any that I like for a decent price0 -
In Tesco last night I also found Ferrero Rocheas (I cant spell sorry!) boxes of 30 half price for £3.50 - I'm using these for my pots of gold0

I keep thinking 'oh it's only a few pounds'. I'm trying to get some stuff done now and saving some for December because if I buy it all now I'll go into town nearer Christmas and end up buying loads more on top.
All i can think of is sweets, a drink, cracker, car bin and the 2 things ive already got, a hannah montana keyring (lol!) and coca cola glass.
Hi girls
Really like the hamper idea and would love to make "Chocoholic" one for MIL and "Golf" for FIL.
So far found only http://www.play.com/Gadgets/Gadgets/4-/8706148/Naughty-But-Nice-Lip-Gloss-Heaven/Product.html
and http://www.play.com/Gadgets/Gadgets/4-/8706154/Naughty-But-Nice-Cake-Towel/Product.html
If the total price for one hamper would be £15-20 that would be great.
Has anyone have any ideas?
ThanksHow about a cocoa butter lipbalm/body butter? Does your mum have brown hair? If she does you could get het a shampoo and conditioner from a chocolate brown range?
For the golf hamper, tesco and asda usually do a golf ball soap on a rope around xmas time and ive seen golf dvd/book sets in aldi for £1.99 or £2.99. I did see a link on netmums for a golf book that was only 95p delivered but cant seem to find it now. Will keep looking.'They only had one cow!'0 -

Hi guys
Bit of a random idea for a xmas pressie for my other half!
He's really into military history and anything Empire related - and I thought it might be fun to create a hamper with an Empire theme. Maybe an item of food/drink from the main countries that were in the Empire? e.g. India, Africa etc
Any ideas?
How about the film or the book Empire of the Sun. It is a about a young english boy who struggles to survive the Japanese occupation of China in 1941. Film was directed by Steven Spielberg and the book was written by JG Ballard.
Also you could bake (or buy!) some Empire Biscuits. They are a traditional scottish biscuit but they are lovely.
Good luck!
