When I had a problem with them I was put through to America! So I don't think you'll have much luck going looking for them
Took ages to sort out too, Paypal is great when it works but as soon as there's a problem it gets complicated.

Morning! My friend has just moved so I got her packing boxes (the expensive ones with lids) so all I have to do now is cover them all with paper and I have my hamper boxes ready to be filled! I was also given a huge amount of bubble wrap so that is my draught excluders sorted too!

Woohoo! Just seen in tesco Direct catalogue that the Tomy Rainbow Aquadraw that I want to get my sons for Christmas is only £14.99! Cheaper than the normal one by £5 and £10 cheaper than the same one in Argos, ToysRUs or Amazon! So glad I looked now... may even use clubcard vouchers to pay for it...

  • had a very rare and precious day out on my own today. On train journey there I read this months book group offering...and on the way back spent two hours thinking about the festive season and making copious notes.

Bloke sat next to me must have thought I was nuts!

  • Just a quick one. Popped into my local Wilkos and they have all the toys out on display next to the start of the christmas stock.

Currently just cards, wrapping paper and gift bags - Bargain Prices as normal :j

    Hi all

I'm just catching up on the last couple of days. I've wrapped a load of prezzies today and DH has put them up the loft in boxes.

Back on topic I'm on the hunt for transformer/robot related stuff for my nephew as the Simpsons was just so 6 months. I can't keep up with him!

Toys'r'us had most of their transformers' stuff half price.

Can I ask for help about buying for boys please? There's a nine year old and a six or seven year old boy, my nephews (by marriage, and I've not met them yet) but I'm in charge of buying their gifts. I know nothing about boys of that age.

Ben 10 is very popular with 6/7 year olds.

On the subject of the Pure range, I bought some stuff from B & M whiich was only 69p each all of which have just had their brand name changed to Pure from Botanics. I bought Pure Hydrating Body Milk, Pure Hydrating Serum Capsules, Pure Enriching Milk Bath, Pure Radiance Renewal Night Serum, Pure Vitamin Recovery Mask and Pure Overnight Fott Treatment. The rest of the name is the same ie, Botanics Hydrating Body Milk.

I've finished shopping for my kids now - although you can guarantee I'll still end up buying more stuff!

    Catch you all later

  • Slowly getting there with pressies! Phew!! This is what I still need to get:

    Cello/tissue paper/ribbon

A few savoury snacks for my mum and step-dad's movie hamper

Some grooming bits for my grandad's hamper

A gift for my cousin (Boots 3 for 2)

A gift for my best friend (Boots 3 for 2)

A gift for another friend (Boots 3 for 2)

Something for my gran-in-law (Any ideas? She's had an awful year - been through breast cancer, a maesectomy and radiotherapy, nearing her 80's and loves lavendar - not sure if scented bath stuff would irritate her scar tissue though?)

    Something for grandad-in-law

£10 M&S voucher for my grandparents to go with their hampers

    4x chocolate slabs

Something else to the value of £15-20 for OH (may just get an Amazon/Play voucher as I've already bought him clothes and done a movie hamper)

Individual cards, 1 "adult" roll of wrapping paper (already have kids leftover from last year) sticky tape

Something small for my sisters boyfriend (maybe a chocolate slab!)

    Secret santa

    So far:

    DS all done
3x sisters beauty hampers all done
    Nan's hamper all done
    Mum's gift all done
OH movie hamper and clothes all done
    MIL gift all done

I'm getting so excited, its nearly the end of September :rotfl:

Edited to add- eeeekkkk it looks more than I though left to do! lol

mummy yummy you have inspired me to have a look at what I have and to write a list of what I still need to do! I keep buying wee bits and pieces and squirrling them away in my xmas drawer but I guess I need to see how much is left to do!

I was doing this too - but last week my OH had our DS for a hour so I could go through everything and put all the presents in the relevant hamper baskets etc. I hadn't realised how much I'd got for my sisters and my nan so I am glad I did it unless I would have just kept buying.
