janey xxxLIFE IS FOR LIVING-I`VE LEARNT THAT THE HARD WAY0 -
Chaosweddings - wrestling not that recent but my ds (11) was really into it until about xmas last year so....
Shawn Michaels is still in it and still popular
Hulk Hogan still makes the odd appearance
Randy Orton and Triple H think they're still popular
popular ones were rey mysterio and john cena they are 'goodies', best place is to check out the wwe website to find out whos still popular and might be a good idea to find out which figures they have as when my son was into it he had them all so it was really difficult to find new ones for him
BHS sell wrestling clothes (although apparently this is not cool) they also sell wrestling pjs would be able to get these with different characters, asda normally take out slippers before xmas and often have jammies too
An annual comes out every year, as does calanders of the 'Diva's' and the main stars of the 2 camps which are Raw and Smackdown, i think.
DVDS are normally on sale in asda, they can be a bit pricey normally its a dvd of a recent pay per view.
Should also be able to get posters from asda or specialist comic book type shops oh and there is a wwe kids magazine and an adult version if the kids one is too kiddieish out once a month or so
oh dear just read this back and i sound like a bit of a wrestling geek! thats what happens when you live with 3 males (OH, DS,DS)
if i think or see anything else i'll let you know
hope it helps!0 -
Just spotted chocolate coins at Tesco, £1.99 BOGOF, could prob get them cheaper elsewhere but it's the first lot of xmas stuff I have seen in the shops x0

Anyone got any ideas as to the contents???? got to contain spanish wine if nothing else. All ideas appreciated.
All i can add is a spanish language book or cd to learn spanish, chorizo, voucher for la tasca if you have one of those, not sure if it exists but see if any of the bookshops have anything on moving to spain or more mse find some expat sites and print out advice, checklists etc and put them in a nicely decorated folder0 -

Quick update on what I've still got to get/make:
Pyjamas/slippers/dressing gown for DS
Vouchers for my grandparents (Marks & Spencer - does anyone know if there is a expiry on these? Could I buy them now and they still be ok to use after Xmas?)
Blockbuster voucher for my mum and step-dad's movie hamper (again does anyone know about expiry?)
An Amazon voucher and new top (to go with the jeans I've already bought) for OH
5x Chocolate slabs
2x Plum and almond chutney
2x Apple and ginger chutney
A few snacks for my movie hampers
A gift (maybe homemade) for DS keyworker
Cello wrap and tissue paper
I think thats it :T
I will take some photos of the hampers I have already made - although they aren't wrapped yet.0 -
