  • Hi, i've attempted this http://mamaandbabylove.blogspot.com/2011/04/freezer-cooking-with-slow-cooker.htmltoday, i'm hoping it works out for me because i quite like the idea of shopping, prepping and cooking as much as possible all in one day, add this for all my slow cooker meals and i will save even more time.

If you've now got 2:D, I'd recommend keeping "raw ingredients" in one and "cooked meals" in the other (if possible).

It's really easy to keep track of exactly what you've got that way. HTH

thats what I have tried to do thanks

  • I have tried the sandwiches for the freezer this week and what a time saver and a money saver. At work a sandwich is around 2.95. I bought a brown loaf and a pack of ham and made 8 rounds of sandwiches bagged them and popped them in the freezer. Now when I am leaving for work at 6.1am I pop my hand in the freezer and I am gone, fantastic idea. thank you for the suggester.

  • Hi

I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant, due 25th february and a few of my friends that have children have suggested cooking things and freezing them for the first few days or so...I'm a relative newbie to this type of thing and not very good at cooking (no matter how hard I try!!) but I was hoping you helpful people might be able to give me a bit of inspiration with what kind of things are cheap, healthy and easy to cook and freeze?

I'd be very grateful for any tips from anyone :D
