    Got my haven letter/invoice today:

    bed making service £10
    power charge £29.97
    linen £21
    entertainment passes £52.50

    total to pay £113.47

Says I can take off the linen charge (and therefore the bed making too I assume ;) )

Entertainments passes are quite a lot cheaper than I expected, thought they would be £15 each so £75 but i'm not arguing :D

    wow...will do this
  • All you have to pay is the power charge, the rest are removable (I've removed all bar that) and I'll wait to see what "entertainment" is actually of offer at the site before shelling out on passes.

Does anyone know for sure if you can use the swimming pool without passes? (Haven website says you need the passes but i'm not sure if they are stringent or not?)

As far as i can remember you will need to have the passes as when you go into the pool they check that you have a pass on the way in.

my mum owns a caravan on a haven site and you have to show your pass at all times even to use their play park and have to show it twice to use the pool:beer:

Hmm Just had a phone call from Haven - mostly to say they couldn't guarantee that a caravan hadn't been smoked in even though they were all non smoking.. but dp asked out of interest which caravan models are the "deluxe" upgrade ones so we could look and was informed that even though we had paid the extra it didn't include cravans with heating in the bedrooms and double glazing AS STATED when I booked it, which was the only reason I booked as we were freezing cold in a caravan at easter, let alone october and two of us are asthmatic!

Have now emailed to cancel :(

ETA - While I was emailing dp has phoned them and they wee happy to action a refund - however he didn't check with them if that is a full one or partial but i'll update when I find out. Wish he'd let me know he was ringing, they are going to think we are fruitloops now :D
