On the subject of insurance, I take it you have advised your travel insurance of your medical condition as it would be one of the terms of any policy and you may invalidate the policy if you don't advise them.

If you only developed the problem AFTER you took out the policy surely they couldn't put any restrictions on you now.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    Hi all,

My Dad and Step Mum are going to Vegas in October and someone has told my Step Mum that she is better off changing her money up when she gets to Vegas rather than getting her dollars before she goes.

Can anyone confirm whether they have got a better rate when they are in Vegas? I thought it unlikely but then I've never been!!

    Thank

It does vary but certainly my last twothree trips I was getting a better rate before I left than what was offered out there. That was last July, December & Easter and the rate has certainly rollercoastered since last July lol

It is true and I think it's $3/day...I read on another board that some people unplug the telephone cable running into the back of the safe as that's what notifies the system that you've used it, but haven't tried it myself.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Morning all. Has anyone been to Vegas in April? I'm looking to be there 29th March to 8th April. Easter weekend is in there. Is that a big holiday in the USA? Will prices go silly? (more than labour day weekend for example). What else happens in early April? Anyone know when Spring break is? (google search said March or April)

Yep, we've also paid $3 per day over the last couple of trips. :)

The dates for Spring Break vary from state to state so it really lasts March into April rather than March or April. Not sure when March Madness finishes either.

We'ved been there when it's been supposedly manic, several times when big fights have been on. We've hit a fight, Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo all on the same weekend and didn't have a problem. However we tend to keep away from MGM if there's a fight on, etc.

We've usually got good rates on the room with booking well in advance.
