there was talk a few pages back of special AA member rates... stumbled across this page just now:
    http://specialoffers.starwoodhotels.com/Planet_Hollywood/SO.htm

    halfway down it mentions:
AAA Members Save in Las Vegas

Map out a road trip to Las Vegas and experience the excitement of Planet Hollywood. Show your AAA card and save up to 20% off our best available rate for stays through December 31, 2010. In addition to your exclusive AAA member rate you'll also receive:
    • Guide to The Planet Coupon book ($3,000 in savings)
    • $40 gaming bonus
    • $5 off per person to the Spice Market Buffet (for up to 4 people)
    • 10% off at Planet Dailies
    • 2 for 1 Spa Admission to Spa by Mandara
To make a reservation click the Book Now button or call 1-866-716-8134 and ask for SET# 298940.
Obviously it's aimed at AAA but may be worth looking if it's reciprocated for AA members too :)

anyways, I mentioned a few pages back that we had redeemed £190 of Tesco vouchers for airmiles - turns out that got us enough miles to have direct (BA) flights for us both for £185 each - bargain and proper excited! :D seems like ages since i last went! (was April!)

Thanks. I've just booked 3 nights at The Luxor on the Ultimate Luxury deal. There is another deal floating around that is much cheaper for the previous 3 days that I might need. Hoping to be somewhere else though!

Another question - the confirmation email didn't mention anything about the deal (food credit, 2 for 1 spa and 2 for 1 lunch). Should I get them to confirm the deal?

I haven't received a confirmation yet that lists the extras included with the room rate. We've always got them no problem and they tell you what's included at check in.

However I had one comped night at Excalibur last trip and they didn't give me the free slot play I should have received.

For peace of mind you could print off the page with the extras on the booking/offer page, but I don't think you have anything to worry about.

We were going to see JB anyway, so Venetian would have been almost free, but unfortunately its blackedout for our dates. :(

If you are a Total Rewards member and are looking at going to see Barry Manilow after he moves to Paris in March,

1-877-374-7469 code TRMAN for 'exclusive access to the best seats in the house'.

Not sure if there's actually any difference in the seats you will get, but may be worth checking Ticketmaster while calling to just see which are better...and sometimes calling anyway gives you better seats.

Finally got around to our TR if anyone is interested - it's quite long (as normal) and probably rather boring, but hey. :)

I'm going to also paste it in at Vegas Trip Reports but haven't gotten that far yet. :)
