There's a Denny's at Casino Royale opposite the Mirage which always has long queues. However there is a new one towards the south of the strip opposite the Monte Carlo at Showcase Mall. It opened just over a week ago, we've been 3 times and it's never been busy.

All in all good trip but dont think next time would go for as long, maybe as part of a multicentre trip for coupla nights. We arent big drinkers or gamblers and found it quite repetitive.

Just curious, kt21: how many times have you been in LV? (I was there last year for 4 nights - I think - and really want to go back. However we are not gamblers nor drinkers, so I was curious by your comment and wanted some context! My OH doesn't want to return so soon...).

Yes MAG is Mon Ami Gabi and David was addicted to it! He was there 3 or 4 times.

We went for breakfast and it was lovely, but not cheap. Dinner is lovely and very reasonable considering the location.

Looked at the menu not too bad, Ive never been as always assumed it was going to be pricy. But will go next time.

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for the posts and link. David thanks for the travel report I take it MAg is short for maggianios. We had one here in Belfast briefly so OH was excited when he discovered there was one in vegas. I was great to read about your experiences. The Killers rock. We saw them in Glasgow.

Am mega excited for our trip as it's our first holiday alone since honeymoon 3 years ago as we were in greece for a wedding and then Turkey with my mum.

    Hi,

Others have covered the MAG bit. We ate there 4 times in all. 1 wasn't planned, the night we got fed up waiting to be seated at Spice Market Buffet we tried off the cuff for a table and got 1 right away.

The food is lovely and as Luci says a great location too.

I don't remember why we didn't check it out on our previous trips, we probably thought it would be too expensive because of the location but that's not the case although you can eat way cheper elsewhere.

There were just so many folk giving good feedback on it here we tried it - then returned....

Yep the Killers are great and put on an excellent show - they always have each time I have seen them.

Now we're home trying to get back into some sort of sleep pattern before Tuesday.

Enjoy your return trip - we had a great time!!

we also didn't try MAG for quite a few trips as we just assumed given the location and overall look of the place that it would be too posh for us...when we finally did try it we found out how wrong we were. No, it's not the cheapest place to eat by a long shot, but it's great food at reasonable prices and a great overall atmosphere.

It's so odd that we'll be in Vegas in less than 48 hours...it hasn't really hit us yet...I expect it might tomorrow night when we're staying at ORD before our fllight on Tuesday.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Was our first time in vegas. We did all the attractions and probably wouldnt do them again. Wasnt saying I wouldn't go back just not for as long next time. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it and would go back just to see more shows. Probably in a couple of years time.
